Methodological model for the development of clinical competencies in nutrition students

Objetive: to evaluate the effectiveness of an educational intervention, with inverted classroom strategies, at level clinical competencies sixthsemester students Bachelor Science in Nutrition program.
 Method: Community trial, pre and post control group. Setting Faculty Autonomous University State Morelos. Participants: 137 included two groups by self-selection, group A (control, n=64) B (intervention, n=73). Intervention: flipped strategy was implemented organized digital platforms use simulators. Main Outcome Measure: Evaluation medical history, physiopathology procedures nutrition. Descriptive statistics, contingency tables, Wilcoxon test robust linear regression performed Stata Program release 14.
 Results: Significant positive differences were found increase knowledge about group, while intervention this condition occurred all evaluated total sum. The highest socioeconomic reflected a significant association force (p<.05 value), addition previous having participated intervention.
 Conclusions: It is suggested that simulators allow for improvement learning nutrition be as part their curriculum.
